Zune Changes its Download Policy
There is some good news for Zune subscribers. In the ensuing battle against Apple’s iTunes for online music supremacy, Microsoft’s Zune is offering a new download subscription policy.
The Zune Pass will allow subscribers to keep 10 tracks every month in their permanent collection for no extra charge. The content can be stored on up to 3 computers and up to 3 separate Zune music players. The current Zune Pass allows subscribers to access millions of tracks for a $14.99 monthly fee.
Microsoft sign digital rights management deals with 4 of the largest music companies: Sony BMG, EMI Music, Universal Music Group, and Warner Music Group as well as a variety of independent labels.
