An iPhone for 99 bucks? If it happens, count me in! Rumours are abound the blogosphere that giant discount retailer Walmart is currently training its employees on sales techniques for the iPhone. Trust me guys, the iPhone sells itself.

From those same employee’s loose lips, comes reports that Walmart will be offering iPhones by the end of December (before Christmas?), and, as is common at Walmart, the price will be cheap.

Apparently, Walmart will feature cheaper iPhones, by offering less memory capacity. How cheap? 99 dollars (US) for a four gig model, and higher prices to scale with more memory. If this turns out to be true, no doubt they will be flying off the shelves.
