Twitter Wants To Make Money
It was only a matter of time before the popular microblogging platform Twitter would seek to monetize their efforts, and it looks like they are now readying to do so. According to The Wall Street Journal, Twitter is preparing to begin offering paid accounts to their business users.
What would such accounts encompass? Well, the speculation is that businesses would have the option to open paid accounts which would allow them to verify legitimate Twitter representatives, provide them with Twitter analytics tools, as well as tracking options to observe what others are tweeting about them.
Twitter has not yet official confirmed the move, nor has a pricing model been released.
