Every year it seems all the “hot buys” become impossible to find before Christmas, and are only available on eBay and Craigslist — for a premium. Well, as far as the Nintendo Wii is concerned, this is not the case this year. If you’re looking for one, while brick and mortar stores, as well as many e-tailers may be out of stock,  there is one place that is offering an abundance of the unit — Walmart.

This morning (Monday) Walmart told the media, that they have secured tens of thousands of Wii’s, and will be offering them online immediately.

The Wii has been a bright beacon in an dark economy, emerging as one of Black Friday and Cyber Monday’s biggest hits. Walmart will be offering the console for under $250 (US) dollars, which is about the same as other large retailers, such as Best Buy and Circuit City.
