Google Adds Magazine Search Feature
Giant search-company Google has struck deals with a multitude of magazine companies in order to add over one million magazine articles to its search results. The magazine publishers will receive a revenue share from ads shown on the same page as their articles.
The magazine results are available to users by using the advanced options in Google Book Search to select a magazine search before entering their query.
Which magazines are participating? The full list has not been released, but it’s known that some of those included will be older publications of Popular Science, Ebony, Popular Mechanics, and New York Magazine.
