The folks at Google were sure busy today, as their “Open Handset Alliance” expanded to include fourteen more companies. Many of them big-name blockbusters.

Who’s involved? New members to the alliance are (in no particular order):Garmin International, Borqs, Softbank Mobile, Vodafone, Toshiba, Sony Ericsson, Teleca AB, Softbank Mobile, Atheros Communications, ARM, AKM Semiconductor, Omron Software, Huawei Technologies, and ASUSTek Computer. Whew! Long list!

Who strikes your fancy? It seems the blogosphere is most biased toward Sony Ericsson, and I am no different than the majority. In fact, I have owned several of their phones, and would love to get my hands on one that includes the Android platform.
