Oops! While in the midst of a spacewalk intended to repair a solar panel on the International Space Station, Astronaut Stefanyshyn-Piper let go of one of the most sizable items to date during out in space. The astronaut, part of shuttle Endeavour’s mission, dropped her toolkit, after a grease gun carried inside startled her with its explosion.

There was clearly nothing she could do after the fact, as the kit floated off into space, and she let out a sarcastic “Oh, great.” The dropped toolkit made her job a lot more difficult, as in order to repair the solar panel, she had to split tools with a fellow astronaut. However, at the end of the day, they got the job done — it just took an additional six hours.

Stefanyshyn-Piper had the following comment, “Despite my little hiccup, or major hiccup, I think we did a good job out there.”
